The Order amends the Schedule to the Taxation (Exchange of Information with Third Countries) (Jersey) Regulations 2008 by specifying 5th January 2010 as the date that the taxation information exchange agreement between Jersey and Australia came into force. Road Traffic (Public Parking Places - Charges) (Jersey) Order 2010 R&O.7/2010 This Order was made by the Minister for Transport and Technical Services on 25th January 2010 and comes into force on 1st February 2010. The Order increases the value of a parking unit by 14% and the charges for season tickets by 13%. Housing (Fees) (Amendment) (Jersey) Order 2010 R&O.6/2010 This Order was made by the Minister for Housing on 25th January 2010 and comes into force on 1st February 2010. The Order amends the fees relating to the Minister's consent for a sale or transfer of land or a registered contract of lease.

Economic Development Tourism Development Fund Applications for funding The Tourism Development Fund Panel is inviting Public and non-profit voluntary organisations to apply to the Tourism Development Fund for grants for events and projects that will attract visitors to the Island and stimulate the Tourism Industry in 2010 and beyond. The Board is encouraging applications for funding that can demonstrate an increase in visitors, particularly in the shoulder months, and which are economically sustainable. The Tourism Development Fund is sponsored by the States of Jersey under the direction of the Minister for Economic Development and overseen by the Panel. The Fund has issued guidelines for applicants and organisations interested in applying. The closing date for applications is Monday, 1st March 2010. The Board expects to review all applications and respond by late March. INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE MANUFACTURE, SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION OF PAYCARDS Applications are invited from suitably experienced printing and supply companies who wish to tender for the manufacture, supply and distribution of paycards in Jersey. The contract will run for a 3 year period with a further 1 year extension option, effective from the beginning of July 2010, and will require the production of paycards to the agreed design and quality standard with a registered security printer, delivered in accordance with an agreed schedule to States of Jersey nominated storage. It will also include the subsequent distribution to contracted retailers, along with the collection of and accountability for moneys due from the contracted retailers. The successful contractor will undertake to adhere to the terms of the contract in respect of liability for all moneys collected on behalf of the States of Jersey, as well as liability for the safe and secure delivery of stock into the nominated storage areas as determined by the contract. The contractor will also accept liability for any defect in print quality or scratching performance in accordance with the contract terms. MINISTER FOR HOUSING Expressions of Interest, Management of Property Owners Associations Expressions of interest are invited from local Property Management Companies who are licensed under part II of the Regulations and Development (Jersey) Law 1973, as amended, who may wish to be considered for inclusion in a formal tender process to secure a 3 year contract with the States of Jersey Housing Department to manage a number of Property Owners Associations. Contracts will commence on 5th April 2010 following a full tender process. Since embarking on the sale of a number of States homes through the Social Housing Property Plan, a number of Property Owners Associations have been created to ensure appropriate management of communal areas on those Estates and to ensure the necessary recharges for services provided to home owners are appropriately collected. There are currently two such Associations registered in the Royal Court, but it is expected that an additional four will be created over the coming 12 months, potentially with a further four in 2011 and 2012. Value for Money and Excellence in Customer Care are primary considerations in the Housing Departments business delivery and will be at the heart of any successful application. Those companies wishing to be considered for the tender process are required to express their interest in writing to the undersigned by 12 noon on Monday 22nd February 2010. Paroisse de St Martin St Martin's Village Plan Expressions of interest are invited from parishioners of St Martin who may wish to join a new committee to assist in the formulation of a VILLAGE PLAN with the aim of sustaining the vitality and viability of the Community. Subject matter will include: *The provision of affordable First Time Buyer homes *The provision of Retirement Homes for Senior Citizens *Traffic Management in the Village *Pedestrian Safety in the Village *Access to public transport and transport hubs *Recreation and Sport *Conservation *The Environment This is a very wide ranging remit, and we would welcome applications from any parishioner with relevant skills who would be interested in carrying the community development over a fairly extended period of time. It is proposed that the new committee of members will be confirmed at a Parish Assembly to be held in the near future. The committee is expected to retain the involvement of a number of ex-officio members drawn from the Municipality, the St Martin's Housing association and the St Martin's Conservation Trust.
