Film of Forced Labourers in Alderney

This film clip from Alderney shows some of the forced workers working on the island fortifications. It is said that the workers were issued with new uniforms for the occasion which were then taken back once filming was completed.
The film itself is a unique survivor and was discovered after the war and repaired by the technical department of the Imperial War Museum, London.
