In Memoriam to Brothers

1.
Lonely is our home without you,
Life to us is not the same,
All the world would be like Heaven,
Just to have you back again.

2.
No length of time can dim the past,
Loving memories hold it fast.

3.
Somewhere beyond the sunset where loveliness never dies,
He dwells in God's beautiful garden, beneath the heavenly skies.

4.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps one to forget,
But time so far has only shown,
How much we miss you yet.

5.
The happy times we spent together,
Will linger in our hearts forever,
Time takes away the edge of grief,
But memories turn back every leaf.

6.
Time may pass and fade away,
But you are with us every day.

7.
Oh brother mine, if I could tell,
The feelings in my heart,
How sad I was when God decreed,
That you and I should part.

8.
With willing hands he did his best,
With heart so good and tender,
He worked with joy for those he loved,
And left us to remember.

9.
(month) brings sad memories of a most unhappy year,
When we lost a brother who to us was very dear.

10.
His presence we miss, his memory we treasure,
And his brotherly love will remain,
How much we miss him is far beyond measure,
But if its God's will, we'll meet again.

11.
What would we give to see you smile,
To sit and talk with you awhile,
To have you here in the same old way,
Would be our dearest wish today.

12.
This day comes with sad regret,
It brings back a day I will never forget,
You fell asleep without goodbye,
But memories of you will never die.

13.
Clusters of memories sprinkled with tears,
Wishing God had spared you a few more years.

14.
Not a day do we forget you,
In our hearts you are always near,
As we loved you, so we miss you,
As it dawns another year.
We shared some happy days together,
And some sad one's too,
But the saddest day of all, (name),
Was the day that we lost you.

15.
They say that time heals all sorrow and helps one to forget,
But time so far has only shown how much I miss you yet.

16.
I had a brother with a heart of gold,
His loss to me will never be told,
Though absent, he is very near,
Loved and missed, still very dear.

17.
Only a memory of bygone days,
Of a brother whose face is unseen,
A constant feeling that God alone,
Knows what might have been.

18.
A beautiful memory, dearer than gold,
Of a brother whose worth can never be told,
It's been (time) since you went away,
But in our thoughts you'll always stay.

19.
When evening shades are falling,
And we sit in quiet alone,
To our hearts come a longing,
If he could only come home.
Friends may think we have forgotten,
When at times they see us smile,
But they little know the heartaches,
Our smiles hide all the while.

20.
Loving and kind in all his ways,
Upright and kind to the end of his days,
Sincere and kind in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories he left behind.

21.
Time speeds on, (amount) years have passed,
Since death its gloom, its shadows cast,
Within our home, where all seemed bright,
And took from us a shining light.
We miss that light and ever will,
His vacant place there is none can fill,
Here we mourn but not in vain,
For up in heaven we will meet again.

22.
One year today our brother was called,
To his eternal rest,
Gone where angels sing so sweet,
And taken when God knew best.
We miss him here so very much,
His presence oft seems nigh,
But we hope in heaven to meet,
Where no one says goodbye.

23.
What would I give to clasp his hand,
His happy face to see,
To hear his voice and see his smile,
That meant so much to me.

24.
In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.

25.
Since you've gone and I remain,
To walk the road alone,
I live in memories garden,
With happy days we've known.
Since you've gone first and I remain,
One thing I'd have you do,
Walk slowly down the path of death,
For soon I'll follow you.
I want to know each step you take,
That I may walk the same,
For some day down that lonely road,
You'll hear me call your name.
