In Memoriam to Grandparents
1. Gentle Jesus up above, Please give Grandma all our love.
2. A special smile, a special face, A special Gran we can not replace.
3. His smile is missed, His pleasant ways, Will live with us, Through all our days. Whom to know, Was but to love, God keep him safe, In heaven above.
4. We lived in hope and prayed in vain, That God would make you well again, Tired and weary you made no fuss, You tried to stay with us.
5. We've been lonely since you left, Home has never been the same, The world would be like heaven, Just to have you back again.
6. Although we smile and make no fuss, No one misses you more than us, And when old times we oft recall, Then we miss you most of all.
7. It seems so strange, That those we need, And those we loved the best, Are just the ones, God calls away and takes them home to rest.
8. (amount) little hearts still love you, (amount) little hearts still care, (amount) little hearts still wonder, Why Grandad isn't there.
9. Heavy are our hearts today, Memory brings you back once more, To the time when you were with us, To the happy day of yore.
10. We watched you suffer day by day, And could not help in any way, But just stood by and saw you pass, Into the Saviour's arms at last.
11. A page in the book of memory, Silently turns today, We remember you in silence, And make no outward show, And what it meant to lose you, No one will ever know.
12. Some day, some time our eyes shall see, The face we keep in memory, And God will link the broken chain, Still closer when we meet again.
13. Always a smile instead of a frown, Always a hand when one was down, Always true, thoughtful and kind, Wonderful memories she left behind.
